  • Every visitor hit WordPress directly. At that post count the REST layer buckled under traffic spikes and returned 504s.
  • WordPress became the editor only. The public site is Astro on Cloudflare Workers with a three-tier cache: Workers KV, then the edge, then origin.
  • A post is fetched from WordPress once per cache window rather than once per visitor.
  • Publishing stayed one click. Saving a post fires a rebuild, the deploy purges the edge, live in two to three minutes.

What does it cost?
Scoping is free. After we have looked at the store you get a fixed price for the work, or an hourly rate with a cap if the problem is genuinely open-ended. You approve the number before anything starts.
How long does it take?
A single fix is usually days. A development project depends on scope, and the scope comes with a date. If we are going to miss it, you hear that from us before the date, not after.
Do you need access to my live store?
We work on a staging copy wherever possible. When live access is genuinely required we ask for a time-limited account with only the capabilities the job needs, and we tell you when to revoke it.
What happens if we stop working together?
You keep everything. The code is yours, it stays in your repository, and we document it so another developer can pick it up. No licence keys tied to us, no hosting you cannot leave.
